- typo on in-line command on sample notebooks - should have been %%bash instead of %bash - print function (built-in?) is still in Python 2 format (so which python version is the notebook supposed to run on?) - apache_beam is not available - had to add %pip install apache_beam[gcp] and restart kernel before import - yet the cell still failed to execute - will figure out in the later attempts - checkpoints are performed on Datalab while the lab instructions imply the lab is supposed to be done on Jupyterlab instance
