As of 2019 Jun, the follow command failed in python 2.7. Please use python 3 to run. from google.cloud import bigquery client = bigquery.Client()

datalab didn't start, having some issues propagating ssh key. Workaround, first ssh into datalab instance. Then stop it, then re-connect with cloud shell again.

For those having issues with importing bigquery, change your kernel to python3 and click on "reset session". then the lab code will work without any issues

from google.cloud import bigquery client = bigquery.Client() This code never worked. The problem was on the server side or something. It said, the __init__() method, requires 2 arguments but 3 were given.
