It says to not use the new BigQuery UI, but then I couldn't find my project in the old UI. So I just reopened BQ with the new ui and ran the code and it worked fine.

Steps doesn't align with what's on google. Some issues with upgraded versions will have to be handled.

The lab showed good interaction between Datalab and Bigquery; however I thought the lab was quit short for the credits used.
