I was following the instructions but at the very end went a little extra step verifying availability of the file at the other 2 containers in the StatefulSet. For some reason the file didn't exist in the other 2 pods. ------------ student_02_2f3f055c3958@cloudshell:~/ak8s/Storage (qwiklabs-gcp-02-954c944a2205)$ kubectl exec -it statefulset-demo-0 -- sh # cat /var/www/html/index.html Test webpage in a persistent volume! # exit student_02_2f3f055c3958@cloudshell:~/ak8s/Storage (qwiklabs-gcp-02-954c944a2205)$ kubectl exec -it statefulset-demo-1 -- sh # cat /var/www/html/index.html cat: /var/www/html/index.html: No such file or directory # exit command terminated with exit code 1 student_02_2f3f055c3958@cloudshell:~/ak8s/Storage (qwiklabs-gcp-02-954c944a2205)$ kubectl exec -it statefulset-demo-2 -- sh # cat /var/www/html/index.html cat: /var/www/html/index.html: No such file or directory ------------ However I might misunderstand the PVC binding across containers within the StatefulSet. Anyways labs are great and I'm enjoying the learning process!!!
