The mixture of examples and actual instructions is very unclear- it is not obvious what is being asked, and what is an example. Ultimately you cannot complete this lab without looking at the solution, which is sub-optimal. It needs a re-write.

first time the jupyter was not working properly when the instance was created. second time I couldn'd select zone us-central1-f from the available zone (only a,b,c were possible). third time also issue with the zone

HHC Policy appears to preclude completion of this lab. The Python Notebook required 3 attempts before opening producing an http error 524. Later, the Jupyter terminal was incapable of responding. There was no visible text and merely a blinking cursor on the upper Left Hand Side of the display. Images available of all these events. At this point both the Python and Java labs have failed concurrently.
