Kubernetes dashboard URL threw a 404 error, so I was not able to complete this optional portion of the lab.

When creating the dashboard you get an error when executing this command: kubectl create -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubernetes/dashboard/master/src/deploy/recommended/kubernetes-dashboard.yaml Results in: error: unable to read URL "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubernetes/dashboard/master/src/deploy/recommended/kubernetes-dashboard.yaml", server reported 404 Not Found, status code=404

Quite complex. Unfortunately, the https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubernetes/dashboard/master/src/deploy/recommended/kubernetes-dashboard.yaml was not available when running the lab - error 404

Struggled with kubectl create -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubernetes/dashboard/master/src/deploy/recommended/kubernetes-dashboard.yaml -> 404: Not Found should be something like $ kubectl create -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubernetes/dashboard/master/aio/deploy/recommended/kubernetes-dashboard.yaml ? https://8081-dot-5202139-dot-devshell.appspot.com/api/v1/namespaces/kube-system/services/https:kubernetes-dashboard:/proxy/#!/overview?namespace=default but was still failing when ran out of time -> { "kind": "Status", "apiVersion": "v1", "metadata": { }, "status": "Failure", "message": "no endpoints available for service \"https:kubernetes-dashboard:\"", "reason": "ServiceUnavailable", "code": 503 }
