Yeah, real cool ... been staring at a screen ... "deploying at 64%" of the GKE cluster for over half a hour, not a single node (thus VM) was assigned. Pretty confident the zone ran out of resource but of course you can't even cancel it, no no you have to end the lab and hope that next time you get a decent region. Beyond frustrating experience with GCP.

The part where I needed to change only a PORTION of the file, and only a CERTAIN SPECIFIC portion of the file, was unclear. I had to redo the lab 5 times because I kept accidentally breaking things (for context, the first few attempts I tried typing the command line instructions in, as opposed to just straight copy-pasting).
