Some sections seemed irrelevent to what we would be doing using and seemed to address other approaches that were considered to be impractical to do when compared to other approaches (e.g. using Cloud SQL which relied on cmd shell, vs BigQuery). Would have been better to focus on the best practices when doing this stuff and i thin it generated some confusion as to why we were looking at those tasks.

Quite a lot. The course was complete enough to be just one-day duration. The topics covered well interesting and well managed by the instructor. I'd really like to have more classes such as this.
