There seemed to be some confusion about the instructions, but I assumed region in any network specific instruction set referred to the region where the accompanying VM would sit... AND IT WORKED!!!! Yay me!

Some typos in commands - however if typing rather than copying (so that data is entered more intuitively) the procedure appears to have worked from the first try.
