I setup command line variables and typed out all the commands. For those copying and pasting, might be recommended to add a variable creation step and include the variable in the provided commands.

many bugs in gcloud commands - REGION_1 and REGION_2 confused. Sometimes command contains only 'REGION' - without any number

This lab does not work as written. There is no "Network" section. the gcloud command to request an IP address does not print what address is assigned, etc.

the slashes in commands to break lines arent working in gc shell and its annoying to remove them manually

Pleased with the command line use, though would have been nice to have some open-ended questions thrown in (e.g. "use the tools you just learned to do xyz")

A lot of mistakes in lab and out of dated examples. i.e system do not allow you to create firewall rule with blank tags section

Verify VPN connectivity steps say to test connectivity via the external ip of the other server, but the command shown has placeholders for SERVER-{2,1}-INTERNAL_IP. Clearly the command is correct, but the preceding instructions are not.
