some of filters options have changed for networking. For all source ips it should be 0.0.0.0/0 rather than 0.0.0.0

The IP addresses are not displayed in the cloud console when created. I had to figure out how to display them (given that I am still learning how to use cloud, this took two lab attempts and several minutes on the second attempt). I thought I didn't know what I was doing the first time.

there was a step missing. when you create the static IP for the VPN, the command does not return the verbose results the lab shows. in order to get the IP address, I had to run "gcloud compute addresses describe..."
