- initially grants were not accepted by IAM (it showed the roles as assigned but the "create" button did not allow creation on user 2 - project id was wrong in the cloud shell required me the entire 1:30 hours and I could not focus on learnng, just troubleshooting

Cannot create GKE cluster in us-east1-d so I had to use us-east1-c. The same thing happened yesterday. You may need to update the instructions for this lab. Cheers!
