I did passed the checkpoint in which I granted the service account user to the default compute engine service account, refreshed the browser, changed browser and after 15 min it still did not moved on. Cannot create GKE cluster in us-east1-d so I had to use us-east1-c. The same thing happened yesterday. You may need to update the instructions for this lab. Cheers!
