Yeah, It's just OK. The ec2admin role didn't seem to provide the access I thought it would. Namely I thought I could launch an instance but that wasn't happening.

Very good exercise, lost my place a bit in the instructions on how to change users in a new browser but once I reset myself I was able to complete the exercises! Close one!
