Experienced problem: User defined logs-based metrics, progress check won't pass. Expected Outcome: Check should pass when doing everything according to the step-by-step tutorial. Possible Point-of-failure : When using GUI to create new instance, payload.methodName will result in "beta.compute.instances.insert", rather than the expected "v1.compute.instances.insert". Which cause "User defined logs-based metrics" check to fail. Workaround is to use Cloud Shell to create new instance.
