very interesting topic. Maybe two improvements : 1. last comparison between heap of version 4 and version 3 gives nothing in my gui (only version 4 has data for readfile, empty in version 3) 2. i would have like more explanation of how to use profiler api inside the code itself (of course it's not possible to do that on all languages, bu maybe just add a little explanation of what code is added in go to be able to profile things, and how it is working)

While the improved performance of the final version 4 run matched the lab instructions, the profiler didn't seem to collect any version 4 data. And the exercise also didn't refer to looking at version 4 in the profiler view. This leaves the student wondering, "What happened!?"
