i created bucket, topic, function and alert policy. I tested it several times and got the notifications on my private email, but test still fails on the last step!

Simply does not work. I created the policy and it worked fine. Btw. "Cloud Run Functions" is not a valid Metric type as it is still named "Cloud Functions" here.
