You can't directly create an alerting policy based on the number of active Cloud Run function instances using the standard Google Cloud Monitoring interface. This is because Cloud Run functions are managed services, and their metrics are exposed differently.

Cloud Run Function option is not available in creating alerts so was not able to complete task 4 although alerting was working perfectly fine but inside lab there might be the condition to check if selected metric is Cloud run function instead of cloud function.
