Gen2 environment isn't an option. The function fails to deploy and will not work correctly. Turns out this was all user error. When done correctly the lab works flawlessly.

why is pubsub creation step added? it is not used in cloud function defined later.

Task 3 is terrible. The waiting time for the correct roles for the service account is closer to 20 minutes and not a few minutes. I repeated the same stuff close to 10 times aleady. Also because every time there is an error I need to redo the whole cloud function again.

Cloud Function is created using the 1st Generation environment and then only the 4th task completed. Its not worked using 2nd gen env
