Perhaps include some metrics tests which can be validated. For example I set inbound network traffic above 20kb/s for 1 minute, then wget a 1gbit.bin file on the host to trigger the alert

Would of liked a few more dashboards and maybe run AB against the cluster (Probably would need a load balancer) to create some load or cause a node to fail.
