otice that we used the principle of least privilege and only allow SQL access for that VM. I was unable to find where it was set. I only found a service account with Editor basic role, not a predefined or custom one for SQL access only. Furthermore, both VMs were in the same zone and region, so the proxy task was artificial, you might as well connect using private IP for both cases.
