Note: you must select US as region even if your nearest region is a different one, otherwise the import from CVS file fails

Instruction said to choose region closed to the project location for the dataset (in my case assigned project region was us-central1) but at the next step (creating a table from CSV) I've got error message stating that import could not happen due to the fact that csv is in US and the dataset is in us-central1 so I had to delete and recreate the data set. Then I did both queries (via web interface and the terminal) but the checker stated that I did not finish importing data (probably because of those failed attempts) so even though data is there and queries run successfully I have to stop the lab and do it all again. With a clean run I selected US as the dataset location and now the progress check finally worked.
