Learn about deploying infrastructure as code and the many pre-built templates GCP and it's partners have made available. These updated regularly. Rather than choosing an OS and individually installing all the components needed, one can simply pick an existing template. Alternatively, one could create a new template, which can be deployed in as many instances as desired.

Good example with Bitnami however there are now 3 version of Jenkins making the guidance a bit hard to follow and it's also not clear as to why we chose the Bitnami version. It's not hard to figure out however, it would be nice if the guide expands on the Google provided version and maybe explains the difference between the container and VM based solutions.
