codelab failure when provisioning kubernetes engine cluster

Duy N. · Reviewed over 3 years ago

(!) the debian9 instance template is no longer available. I had to change it to debian10 to get it work. Also, the last versions of Terraform provider are not compatible with the provided code. It shouldn't be told to change the GCP Terraform provider to the latest version because it doesn't work.

Time to update terrafome files, so it can deploy bastian host, a later version of debian will resolve the issue

The lab has an error when applying terraform. To solve this, you need to change Debian version to 10 in terraform/bastion.tf.

Terraform fails with: Could not find image or family debian-cloud/debian-9 You can fix it by editing the Terraform files: ./terraform/bastion.tf:55: image = "debian-cloud/debian-10"
