Awful. The interface for removing an external ephemeral IP is nothing like what is described in the lab, and looking for other documentation online turns up nothing. This means that the entire point of this lab is bypassed. I was able to get around it (I think) by: -- Upgrading my ephemeral external IP to a static one -- Removing the association of the external IP from the server -- Deleting the static IP However, I wasn't able to test if this truly, since GCP was experiencing various problems and couldn't work with my resources. I tried to create another VM in order to test this, but after 15 minutes that VM still wasn't created and the lab had expired. (Edit: After relaunching this lab, I was able to proceed using the above workaround without problems. If there is an easier way to do this, I didn't see it in the console or via the GCP documentation.)
