Some of the exercises could have used more concrete tasks e.g. drop these specific fields, filter by this specific predicate etc.

My templates failed to run. The dataflow console said nothing, but if I clicked the logs button I saw that it said the vm failed to launch, "check the console logs". I managed to find one of the VMs but couldn't find the logs. No idea why it failed. Maybe not the fault of the lab author that Google has difficult UIs.
