Completing the "Classify Images with TensorFlow on Google Cloud: Challenge Lab" provided a hands-on opportunity to enhance my skills in machine learning using Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform. This lab challenged me to independently train a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for image classification, deploy the model, and make online predictions. By writing and executing a custom training script, managing training jobs, and deploying the model to an online endpoint, I deepened my understanding of TensorFlow and Google Cloud's AI capabilities. The lab solidified my ability to create and operationalize machine learning models, preparing me for real-world scenarios where timely and accurate model deployment is crucial.
