When you run the command gcloud compute instances create privatenet-bastion \ --zone=us-central1-c --subnet=privatesubnet --can-ip-forward it says not enough resources available so you have to change the resource to central1-a

VM creation needs --machine-type due to N type phase out. I used e2-medium and it worked.
