**Issue: Redirect loop prevents access to AI Applications / Data Stores** When attempting to open Vertex AI Agent Builder (Gen App Builder), the console enters a redirect loop: * Accessing `/gen-app-builder/start` automatically redirects to `/gen-app-builder/engines/create` * That page fails to load or shows a blank/error state * Direct access to `/gen-app-builder/data-stores` also fails As a result, it is not possible to reach the **AI Applications → Data Stores → Create data store** page required for the lab. **Additional details:** * Discovery Engine API is already enabled * Correct Qwiklabs project is selected * Issue persists in Incognito mode * Occurs consistently even after refreshing and using direct URLs **Impact:** This blocks progress in the lab since creating a data store is not possible The lab environment is broken and prevents completion. * The Gen App Builder UI is inaccessible due to redirect loops. * The gcloud CLI does not support discovery-engine commands. * Direct REST API calls to create a data store return HTTP 500 (Internal error), even with correct authentication and project configuration. This indicates a backend issue with the Discovery Engine service in the lab environment. As a result, it is impossible to complete the "Create data store" step.
