had not enough resources in region mentioned in lab. Had to use another region and luckily it allowed it for my progression

Very confusing for a first timer, the stack that was needed did not show in the search marketplace when searching for "Nginx" which had over 90 results. Instead I had to search for "NGINX Open Source packaged by Bitnami" and even then the results didn't match but I guessed the stack and it seemed to work. Configuring the VM then mentioned 10GB SSD but the picture had persistent selected. Again I guessed it but I was worried about my progress tracker failing later down the line.

The marketplace page on Google Console is now other than mentioned on instruction. Also the package has different name.
