For some reason the preview functions in the cloud shell did not exist in the generated lab account and it made it almost impossible to view the node hello world functions. (on the second attempt It was an issue with the google side bar on the left pushing the icons off the screen when it was fully expanded.

Ran local gcloud and kubectl pointing to GKW and managed to get to the end of the lab.
