Lots of warnings, need to update the commands WARNING: `gcloud docker` will not be supported for Docker client versions above 18.03. As an alternative, use `gcloud auth configure-docker` to configure `docker` to use `gcloud` as a credential helper, then use `docker` as you would for non-GCR registries, e.g. `docker pull gcr.io/project-id/my-image`. Add `--verbosity=error` to silence this warning: `gcloud docker --verbosity=error -- pull gcr.io/project-id/my-image`. See: https://cloud.google.com/container-registry/docs/support/deprecation-notices#gcloud-docker

The lab can do a better job differentiating between the GKE dashboard and the Kubernetes dashboard. It also seems to imply the way you reach the dashboard you just deployed into Kubernetes is to press the Connect button next to the cluster in the GCP interface, which is wrong.

ran into some issues with trying to run the docker file. in the end had to use a different port (8081) to run the build docker. that seemed to do the trick, but cost me a lot of time.
