It appears that older versions of Kubernetes are not being supported and the training does not account for this.

For some reason the preview functions in the cloud shell did not exist in the generated lab account and it made it almost impossible to view the node hello world functions. (on the second attempt It was an issue with the google side bar on the left pushing the icons off the screen when it was fully expanded.
