I tried the lab many times, and I always got the error "Failed to load IAP resources in the Web UI" and couldn´t get past that. Thanks to @Kaline S and her comment for pointing me to a possible solution. Follow along until section "Restrict access with IAP" right after instruction 13. Comments and commands will be surrounded by brackets since I don´t know how to format text here. [#Store project id] [export PROJECT_ID=$(gcloud config get-value project)] [#store active email account] [export ACTIVE_EMAIL=$(gcloud config get-value account)] [echo $ACTIVE_EMAIL] [#store my principal] [export PRINCIPAL="user:$ACTIVE_EMAIL" echo $PRINCIPAL] [# Activate IAP] [gcloud iap web enable --resource-type=app-engine] [# Add IAM policy binding] [gcloud iap web add-iam-policy-binding \ --resource-type=app-engine \ --member=$PRINCIPAL \ --role=roles/iap.httpsResourceAccessor \ --project=$PROJECT_ID] [#remember, it takes a bit for the changes to update, give a couple of minutes and update the app page.] [# In part 3, you need to disable IAP, use the following command] [gcloud iap web disable --resource-type=app-engine]
