After deploying the verified-user version of the Cloud Run service and enabling IAP, the application returned a 500 Internal Server Error. The Cloud Run logs showed: jose.exceptions.JWTClaimsError: Invalid audience The lab instructions did not clearly explain that the IAP Audience value must match the audience provided by the current IAP console. I also needed to grant the IAP service agent the Cloud Run Invoker role before IAP could invoke the Cloud Run service: roles/run.invoker for: service-PROJECT_NUMBER@gcp-sa-iap.iam.gserviceaccount.com The current IAP console provides a “Get JWT audience code” option, which returns an audience in the following format: /projects/PROJECT_NUMBER/locations/REGION/services/SERVICE_NAME Updating the Cloud Run service with this value as IAP_AUDIENCE resolved the issue. It would be helpful if the lab explicitly included: 1. How to obtain the JWT audience from the current IAP console. 2. The required Cloud Run Invoker permission for the IAP service agent. 3. A troubleshooting note for the “Invalid audience” error and resulting 500 response. Thank you. ```
