The VM page would constantly crash as soon as I tried to add the metadata or enter edit mode. I had to use the gcloud command to bypass this issue.

I am unable to SSH into the VM created in the lab "Create and Configure Virtual Machines (CBL016)". I recreated the VM multiple times following the lab instructions exactly. The VM boots successfully, google_guest_agent and ssh.service are running, gcloud compute ssh --troubleshoot reports no networking or permission issues, and importSshPublicKey returns HTTP 200. However, every SSH attempt fails with Permission denied (publickey). This appears to be an issue with the lab environment or OS Login provisioning.
