Interesting lab. it took exiting the lab, watching the video, learning that you used the metadata in the 'Edit mc-server instance' screen. Mine has enable-oslogin and true for keypair one, and there is no word about "custom metadata". In addition, I had done metadata on the left-hand side of the Compute Engine screen, which didn't work. Pretty frustrating, but two hours later, I found there are two metadata spots, no reference to 'Custom metadata'. You might clarify in the instructions because that was a pretty horrible way to disambiguate the instructions.

Interesting lab. Steps 5/6 in creating the storage bucket frustrating when it's set under VM instances in the directions. I named my bucket minecraft-gcp, and the directions pasted instead of creating a sub-folder (as it looks like the directions imply), it created a standalone folder. If it is supposed to be a standalone, that's great. If it is not supposed to be, something in the code for the generated prompt didn't work. Step 6 for the metadata startup scripts wasn't validating either, so pretty frustrated trying to make this work. I will try this again, but sad to take an hour or so lab and then have all that effort wasted
