Task4 runs on DirectRunner but it doesn't complile using DataFlowRunner Problem is resolved by using Apache Beam version 2.41.0 instead of 2.42.0 CLI didn't add the the role of Dataflow Worker to the service account -compute#developer... I had to add the role using the Console UI
