The notebook was fantastic with great explanations of how to interpret the data visuals and additional ML activities that could be done (like remove outliers). It was great that a baseline was established. There was a comment that leads to a medium article on ML Design Patterns (virtual epochs). This is one of the reasons why these labs are such a treasure trove of information. This is one of the most interesting labs I’ve ever done out of the dozen that I’ve completed in the ML path. The lab itself is simple enough that it can easily be completed, but for those who want to understand and really dive deep - there is so much to it which is incredible. Great lab! Even with supposedly installing both pydot & graphviz, I couldn’t plot the model. Although the line plots were great as a visual comparison of predicted & actual (like a confusion matrix), I would have liked to see the performance metrics of the test dataset compared to the baseline.
