Initially I was kicked out of the lab for "not following the instructions" even though I'd not touched anything other than what it said and was waiting for the Composer cluster to spin up. On a tip from another review I tried again and added Owner permissions as well as Editor permissions to the Compute Engine service account and it worked - this requirement was not specified. The vast majority of time in the lab was spent waiting for the clusters and job to complete with about 5 minutes of actual participation. These concepts could have been delivered in a 10-minute demonstration video that skipped over the waiting and just showed the content we needed to look at instead of a 5-credit lab that ends early and kicks you out if you don't do a hidden extra step.
