Why make a sql instance to connect to if i am not going to do any operations on it, it feels like it should have had its own hands on, as it doesn't fit in with the vm instance + cloud storage bucket tutorial

The default EC2 instance didn't install apache2 and php. Please add those to save times for the participant.
