Very good, clear instructions; great demonstration of cloud shell capabilities. A one-sentence explanation for ipecho.net would be nice - also, is that the only option to get the external instance IP? It seems counter-intuitive, I'd much rather read this from some internal GCP configuration... but showing how to this with an external service has its merits too!
