The default Python version has problem installing pyarrow. Thankfully version 2 of python worked. (replaced python3 with python).

`sudo pip3 install apache-beam[gcp]` did not work. Need to run `sudo pip3 install --upgrade pip` first.

if failed on sudo pip3 install apache-beam[gcp] and had to pip update for it to proceed with the provided instructions
