I'd like to suggest revision at the Task 2. Create VM instances. The described steps gives the impression that a new NIC should be created, while it's just a edition at the default interface.

missing instructions to delete default network interface

Instructions for creating the management subnet does not tell you to delete the default nic. Wasted 30 minutes trying to figure out why it is reporting task not complete. This was a very bad experience.
