the last part of this lab, exporting the model to GCP Vertex did not work for me, getting the message Vertex API is not activated.

Bad beyond words. The code in the video and course documents is completely different from lab solution. No explanation for the differences. This lab could improve by linking reference to other resources to explain the differences. A professional educator should be enlisted to redesign the class and labs from the ground up. I could go on and on.
