Had to instruct Google to recycle my cloud shell - closing the window with "X", and even closing the browser tab (when Cloud Shell was launched to it's own tab) did not lose any settings. This may be a new feature within GCP??? My cloud shell has no .bash_profile, but does have .profile. I modified the latter. For less technical students this would be confusing.

New credential for each lab is a real pain. Many students did not understand to do this. This lab was a bit fiddly to do as well.
