I set my zone to europe-west1-b and the make validate command failed. I manually set my zone in the validate script file and it worked

The monitoring dashboard didn't come up cleanly and the instruction to change to ~/terraform was incorrect.

Not much detail on the monitoring. Maybe there is a longer more in depth lab about that in later labs.
