the first checkpoint failed due to an internal error. The monitoring part is quite dry, I think more information would be useful on what exactly to monitor and why, maybe another example. also more explanation on prometheus integration would be useful

LAB IS BROKEN!!! This lab requires the Stackdriver API, which is not automatically enabled for this project. Students have to manually go into the API library and enable it. None of this is covered in the lab instructions, and this process is a bit difficult for a "fundamental" lab.
