The Terraform create wouldn't for me. Tried 3 times now. Error: googleapi: Error 400: Creation of node pools using node images based on Docker container runtimes is not supported in GKE v1.23. This is to prepare for the removal of Dockershim in Kubernetes v1.24. We recommend that you migrate to image types based on Containerd (examples). I did look at the main.tf file, but based on the error that was generated I would be unable to fix it since I probably don't have rights, would run out of time, and don't know Terraform yet. That's on my study list. Tried again at 2:50 Eastern Time and obtained same results.
