account did not have permissions needed. was able to complete initial vpc-net and subnet, but was not available as option for VM instance network. After multiple rebuild attempts, it was determined to once again be the Zone cause issues. US-east4 needs fixed.

No matter what, I cant select another "Network Interface" than default. My VPC net and subnet doesnt display here, so I cant move on with my VM instance creation.

apache server don tping properly, so the vpc data tables cannot be shown, constructing is complex for me; actually the second tutorial in this course with bugs

Just saw few things about logging. It would be interesting to have more. Showing block traffic for intsance with real use case (troubleshooting or security).
